The airport El Prat is located near the municipal district El Prat de Llobregat in the southeast of Barcelona and is 9 miles away from downtown. How to get to Barcelona by car:
The freeway C-31 Barcelona-Castelldefels gets you from the airport to the motorway C-32 Barcelona-Sitges, which takes you to the centre of the city or any other desired destination. Click on the Google Maps Website and find an interactive Map and Routing from the airport.
Information Point:
Tourist Information Desks are situated at terminal A and B and operate twenty-four-seven to answer any further questions concerning Barcelona. Airport information points can be found all-over in the airport building.

Duty-free-Shops and fashion boutiques are located in all 3 terminals. Hot Spot Internet Access (WLAN) is available in the restaurants area, the meeting room and the VIP-Lounge.
Helpful information:
A police station can be located at Terminal A. The airport pharmacy at Terminal B. Additionally, there is a local medical centre and a lost property office operating day and night at the sector 'Bloque Técnico'. Children's Playing Areas can be found at terminal A and B.
