When you make a reservation through VictoriaCars web site, you have reserved your booking with the provider indicated on your confirmation voucher. This provider could be from the same company VictoriaCars or any other company, depending on the selected destination and vehicle availability when making the booking. When you collect the car, you sign a rental contract with the provider indicated on your booking confirmation at the same rate as indicated in the confirmation. Nevertheless, the supplier reserves the right to levy extra charges as a result of local peculiarities. These rates will be adequately detailed in the Terms and Conditions of your rental contract with the supplier.

1. All inclusive rates. Our prices include:
- All taxes included: 18% VAT.
- Airport taxes and parking taxes.
- Damage insurance CDW No Excess .
2. Airport service. The place to deliver the vehicle is situated in most cases at the airport parking areas (the exact place will appear in your booking confirmation), making this delivery method quicker and without any other additional cost for you.The cost of this service depends of the provider
At airports and depending on the destination, there exists the possibility of overnight deliveries (outside office hours), the cost of this service depends of the provider.
3. Deliveries in the office. Vehicles will be collected at the office address of the mentioned town, being adjusted to office hours (so as for the delivery and for the collection).
4. One-way reservations. Depending on the selected source destination you may return the vehicle in a completely different office with a fee-shifting. The cost of this service depends of the supplier.
5. Fuel and mileage.
Fuel
Fuel is not included in the rental price. The vehicle will be delivered full of fuel which will be paid at the moment of the delivery. None fuel repayment will be refunded. The vehicle must be returned with as minimum quantity of fuel in the tank as possible. The price of a full tank will vary depending on the model of the rented vehicle.
We inform you that VictoriaCars does not use the fuel for earning money, but because we use the “full-empty” policy in order to offer customers a better service and does not oblige himself/herself to go to the nearest petrol station before delivering the vehicle.
Mileage
Some providers have a limited mileage per vehicle. Once this limit is exceeded there should be made a charge for the exceeded miles. The cost of this service depends of the supplier.
6. Payment method. The payment has to be made only and exclusively by means of a credit card (VISA, Mastercard or similar). No debit cards will be accepted.The acceptance of a debit card by VictoriaCars involves that the customer contracts the Super Relax Insurance.
The credit card holder has to be present at the moment of collecting the car, so that the car can be handled over to you.
Remember that for bookings through Internet, VictoriaCars uses a secure server, so your details are sent through a safe way by Internet.
7. Accessories, Additional drivers and Novice drivers
Along with your vehicle you can book child´s safety seats, booster seats, GPS, snow chains etc. Depending on the number of seats of the vehicle, you will be able to book from 1 to 6 accessories. The cost of these extras depends of the supplier.
Additional drivers
It is identified that the additional driver is anyone who, meeting the requirements to be able to drive a rental car, shall be formed in the contract as an additional driver, that being distinct from the main driver or the title holder of the rental contract.
The additional drivers must be present during the process of formalizing the contract, having to show the correct documents to accredit themselves as able to meet the established requirements to drive a rental vehicle.
Depending on the supplier, the rental price does not include the additional driver service, taking the contractor to request and pay for this service as an extra.
Novice drivers
The minimum age to make a reservation and years of driving licence experience are some restrictions that will depend on the provider, existing in some cases to be able to circumvent these restrictions by contracting a insurance for Novice driver.
Entrance tickets to theme parks
The availability of entrance tickets to theme parks like Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Terra Natura depends on the stocks. The reservation of this kind of extras does not guarantee their availability at the time of picking up the vehicle.
8. Standards for child's safety seats and booster seats. The child's safety seat (suitable from 9 months to 2 years old children) and booster seats (for 2 to 13 years old children) offered with the hired car, are quality approved and correspond to European standards.
VictoriaCars offers the possibility to rent these accessories, but will in no case agree to install them in the car. The client alone takes care of the installation and and is solely responsible for the correct fastening and the possible consequences. In case of doubts VictoriaCars is offering an instruction.
9. GPS Navigation System. Availability: The availability of the GPS unit can not be guaranteed by online reservation. The navigation system will be delivered to you at car rental pickup if one is available.
The client is 100% responsible for the rental GPS system at all times between the time of delivery and return to our facility. The GPS unit and equipment has to be handed back by one's own hand to the member of staff of VictoriaCars , who also is in charge of your rental car's return.
This device (and all the accessories included in the package) is not included in the insurance purchased for the vehicle. In case of theft, loss or is damage of GPS or any accessories included in the package, the customer must pay an amount for compensation. The amount of the compensation depends of the provider.
Our GPS rental rate assumes normal wear and tear, which may occur with a rental use. However, scratches, cracks, dents or missing parts that are noticed upon return will result in charges. All rental units will be cleaned prior to being shipped out for rental. Please DO NOT attempt to clean the unit as some chemicals or moisture may damage the GPS rental unit display and internal components.
Taking your eyes off the road while driving could cause you to have an accident. You should not be programming or adjusting your GPS unit while driving. You should do all your programming and adjusting while stopped or have a passenger take care of it.

The insurance characteristics, rates, coverages and exlusions depends on the selected supplier.

10.1 Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess
Rental rates include cover of the Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess
What includes the Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess ?
Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess includes cover of the Compulsory Insurance for Automobiles and Supplemental Liability for damages against third parties arising from the use and circulation of the vehicle.
Such coverage shall be guaranteed and is assumed by the insurer with which the Lessor has the relevant insurance policy, and subject to general and specific clauses of the same and the Law.
By signing the lease the lessee, as the insured, adheres to the aforementioned policy, a copy is available at all offices.
What is NOT included in the Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess?
- Total or partial loss, nor car damage by theft and/or vandalism and/or driving and/or fire accident.
- Damages, losses, or any other damage sustaines in the luggage, goods or personal items carried in the vehicle.
- Damages to tyres, wheel rims and hubcaps.
- Damages to the interior of the vehicle.
- Damages to interior and/or rear view mirror.
- Damages to windscreens.
- Damages to locks.
- Damages to the undercarriage.
- Damages to clutch, engine, sump, catalytic converter and radiator.
- Battery recharge costs.
- Costs for loss of keys.
- Tow-truck and/or taxi transfer after an accident, deposit for vehicle replacement and compensation for lost rental days while the vehicle is being repaired.
- Special cleaning.
The acquisition of this insurance implies exclusivily that the client is solely responsible for damages in case of collision, theft, fire or vandalism on the vehicle. VictoriaCars reserves the right to charge a deposit as a guarantee in the case of single hiring of the Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess. This deposit will be used as payment on account in the event of any damage caused to the vehicle which is not covered by the CDW insurance. Once completely evaluated the damages to the vehicle, the amount to be paid will be adjusted with the retained amount. The deposit amount can be cancelled by hiring the Super Relax Insurance.
There is the possibility to hire the Super Relax Insurance to cover partial or totaly all the risks that are excluded in the Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess

10.2 Super Relax Insurance (Optional)
This optional insurance includes:
- Personal accident insurance for driver and passengers (PAI).
- Collision and fire insurance (FR).
- Theft insurance (THW).
- Insurance for tyres, wheels, windscreens and window glasses (SI).
- Coverage for all the benchmarks excluded in the Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess(*).
(*) With the exception of those who are exluded in ALL the insurances (refer to 10.2.5 of this section)

Detailed below are the covers of each of these insurance included in the Super Relax Insurance
10.2.1 Collision insurance (FR, full risk)
Liability exemption for damage done to the vehicle in an accident:
- The FR is an optional service provided directly by the Lessor to exempt the Lessee, through its signing-up, the financial liability for damage caused to the vehicle in an accident, excluding those caused by vandalism.
- The non-recruitment of FR implies financial responsibility to the Lessee for damage caused to the Vehicle and compensation for immobilization.
- The FR is only applicable if the Lessee properly completes the accident report, in which should clearly state the name of the vehicles and drivers involved in the accident and the conditions and circumstances in which it occurred.
10.2.2 Theft insurance (THW Theft Waiver)
Liability exemption for total or partial theft of the vehicle, and damage caused to it by acts of vandalism.
- The THW is an optional service provided directly by the Lessor, exempting the Lessee, through its signing-up, the financial liability for total or partial theft of the vehicle and the damage caused to it by these reasons and / or vandalism.
- The non-recruitment of THW implies financial responsibility for the Lessee for damages or losses due to theft of all or part of the vehicle and compensation for immobilization.
- The THW is only applicable if the Lessee delivers to the Lessor the keys of the vehicle (the original set that were given at the time the lease was formalized) without any manipulation, with the original incident report submitted to the authorities.
CDW and THW Exemptions: Specifications
- The FR does not cover in any case damage caused to the vehicle, whatever its category, occurring as a result of a collision or crash into trees, tunnels, bridges, garages or garage doors, and in general against any other object, as a result of an incorrect assessment of the height by the driver.
- The FR does not cover in any way damage caused to the vehicle, whatever its category, occurring as a result of driving the vehicle overloaded, above the limits stated in the vehicles registration certificate and/or data sheet, or driving it in unauthorized places such as beaches, inappropriate roads, forest roads, mountains, etc, and paved roads; those caused by stones and other objects or holes in the road; and those produced on the rims and tires due to bumping into curbs when parking. Nor in any case does FR cover damage to vehicles due to flash floods / floods of water due to weather or any other cause when the vehicles are parked in areas of streams, gullies or unpaved water ways, and any case, when the vehicles were not properly parked on paved areas designed specifically for the parking of vehicles.
- The coverage of the FR and THW is not applicable in the case that the cost of repairing partial damage or theft is less than or equal to the excess established in the General Price for each category and / or vehicle group, in which case said cost, up to the limit of the excess, will be charged to the Lessee.
- The coverage of the FR and THW are not applicable in the event that the Lessee does not deliver to the Lessor the corresponding documents (complaint and / or Accident form) duly completed no later than forty-eight hours (except in cases of force majeure) from the date of the incident.
- Neither the FR nor THW in any case cover the losses, theft or damage on items and goods, including luggage or goods, transported, deposited or stored on the Vehicle by the Lessee or any occupant thereof.
- When, in accordance with the provisions of these Terms, the exemptions of the FR and THW do not apply, the Lessee is responsible for paying for all repairs to be carried out on the vehicle, as well as compensation in lieu of detention thereof.
- The rental fees cover the losses and damage to the vehicle in case of fire, when it occurs as a result of a traffic accident or theft of all or part of thereof, or acts of vandalism, in which case will be covered by the provisions governing this article.
- To contract the FR and/or THW coverage for drivers/Lessees within the age bracket of 21 to 24 years, it is mandatory that the Rental Contract price you have been charged includes the charge for Novice drivers which applies to drivers/Lessees of this age group.
10.2.3 Tyres and glass insurance.
This insurance covers:
- Damages to tyres, wheel rims and windscreens.
- Some suppliers offer this insurance separately, tyre insurance and windscreen insurance. The cost of this insurance depends of the supplier.
10.2.4 Personal Accident Insurance for drivers and passengers (PAI):
The PAI is an optional insurance, primarily indicated for the driver of the vehicle, who is not protected by insurance coverage or the complement of liability insurance for death and / or permanent disability, nor in the case of medical costs as a result of a traffic accident.
This insurance covers medical expenses and compensation for death and / or permanent disability of the driver and passenger (only applicable in the case of an accident within the Spanish territory).
The PAI is a personal accident insurance to cover the reimbursement of medical expenses following an accident. It is a guarantee for compensation for death and / or permanent disability of the occupants of the vehicle.
10.2.5 What does the INSURANCE NOT COVER IN NONE OF THE BEFORE MENTIONED FORMS?:
- Damages inside the vehicle or lower parts of the vehicle(*)
- Damages caused to third parties or to the vehicle because of negligence or reckless driving
- Improper refuelling
- Loss or damage of the car keys or of the remote control
- Theft of the Vehicle with car keys in the contact or theft thereof as a result of theft of the car keys
- Personal belongings inside the vehicle
- Damages or situations caused by driving under alcohol and/or drug effects
It is to be understood that “Undercarriage of the vehicle” are the following parts:
On the sides: area situated underneath the doors including the side panels.
At the front: area underneath the front bumper.
At the back: area underneath the back bumper.
Underneath (non visible part): Area on the under side of the vehicle that protects the car’s engine and other mechanisms.
10.3.Customers requirements to ensure the coverages
Coverages of the Damage Insurance (CDW) No Excess as well as for the Super Relax Insurance are completely guaranteed providing that:
- In the event of a collision, customers send to VictoriaCars the full details of the third party and any whitness before 48 hours have elapsed, as well as a completed accident report form "Amicable Accident Report" -DAA- stating the number plate, the name and address of the third party, the circumstances of the collision, a sketch of the accident, the name of the third party´sinsurance company and, if possible, the number of the insurance policy. The accident report form must be signed by the two drivers involved in the accident. If there is no accident report form, the party´s must complete a "Claims Report" provided by VictoriaCars .
- That the insurance company does not refuse to accept the claim because at the time of the accident the vehicle´s driver was not in the physical and mental condition requiered by the Highway Code.
- The collision, theft, fire or act of vandalism was not the result of non-authorised use of the vehicle as set out in section 10.2.2, and
- Customers sent notice of the collision, thef, fire or act of vandalism caused to the vehicle within 48 hours of the event, together with the relevant documents (accident report, report to the authorories, aso.)
10.4 Cancellation insurance:
With the closing of the cancellation insurance we will refund you the booking amount (less the insurance amount) in the event of cancellation. Please note that the cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the car pick-up. The insurance amount depends on the selected car group and of the provider.
11. Breakdowns, accidents and fines. Refer to the specific conditions of each supplier on this section.
If the vehicle is reported / fined during the rental period, the customer will be solely responsible for the entire extent of the fine. In which case, a 20€ charge will be made to your credit card as a management fee for said fines.
12. Requirements.The minimum and maximum ages for renting a car and driving licence experience depends of each supplier. If you do not accomplish any of these requirements, please contact us.
The driver or drivers must have a valid European Union driving license, presenting the original document (photocopies will not be accepted) at the moment of collecting the vehicle.
Original N.I.E. or passport so as a credit card is also required at the moment of collecting the vehicle.
13. Driving restrictions. It is absolutely forbidden to drive the vehicle out of Spain (so as the removal to Ceuta, Melilla, Balearic Islands and Canary Islands).
It is absolutely forbidden to transport animals or goods that can damage, deteriorate or spoil the vehicle.
Do not forget to respect the traffic rules. You will be responsible of any fine or traffic offence to the vehicle during the rental period.
14. Changes, cancellations and extensions.
Cancellations
If you have decided to take the Cancellation Insurance, In case of any cancellation the amount of your booking would be refunded back to your account (less the insurance taken) and always that this booking is cancelled with at least 48 Hrs in Advance. In case you didn't choose the cancellation insurance, we are able to refund the amount of the booking less a 15%.
Amendments and Extensions
You are able to amend or extend your booking without any extra cost if you inform us in a minimum term of 48 hrs. in advance, also pending the availibility.In case not to be present at the agreed moment and place to collect your vehicle without previous notification, will be reason for cancelling your booking.In that case, we are able to discount up to a 15% of the booking amount (management expenses,transportation) and you will need to adjust yourself to office hours and staff availibility to collect your car hire if you are still interested in it.
15. Bookings. Because of variations of the vehicle fleet, VictoriaCars can not guarantee you that the model of vehicle you have chosen is the one that you will collect. Nevertheless, you will always receive as minimum a same category model and, in case of not having that kind of vehicle, we will deliver you a vehicle from a superior category without any additional charge
IMPORTANT: We will not give any car out if the customer does not present a confirmed flight ticket when picking up the car (at LEAST the return ticket). In the case that they don’t have the possibility to present their confirmed flight ticket they will have to show an official document proving that they reside in Spain before taking the car, (e.g. a water or electric bill etc.).
IMPORTANT: If you book a vehicle from H1 group, be aware that this vehicle is considered as a "adapted crossover." This implies that the maximum speed on highway is 100 km/h and 90 km/h on national roads. The company will not be responsible for the consequences which would result in case of breaching these limits.
IMPORTANT: The translation of these general therms and conditions are for information purposes only and are not legally binding. Only the original copy in Spanish is considered legally valid.
